In August 2014, Lam Soon Enterprise (LSE ) became a strategic 20% shareholder in An Long Food JSC ( ALF ).

ALF, a Joint Stock Company, is headed by Madam Huynh Tuan Phuong Mai, a veteran of over 20 years’ experience in Vietnam’s edible oil and fats industry. Established since 2010, the company boasts a stable of cooking oil brands – some of which have registered the fastest growth rate in the country over the last 3 years. ALF’s stable of brands and extensive distribution network, along with Lam Soon’s expertise in oils and fats, will enable ALF to widen its product range. Lam Soon Vietnam was set up as a representative office in 2009. In 2012, it became a subsidiary. Through this investment, Lam Soon Group aims to increase its presence in the country and capitalise on the potential growth of the Vietnamese market.
